"Joëtta" is the indie folk project of Dutch singer-songwriter Joëtta Zoetelief. She writes lyrics that reflect the real world, where emotions are part of society and creates dreamy music with guitar, piano and harmonies. After having released her two first singles, she'll release one more single and then release the songs as part of her debut EP. Joëtta's music is inspired by artists like Billie Marten, Lucy Rose and Alice Phoebe Lou.

"Better than Me" by Wiens Lief//

Meeting online in a Facebook groups for musicians living in Amsterdam, Tiana Stuart (U.S.A.), Joëtta Zoetelief (Netherlands) and Fanni Walla (Hungary), immediately hit it off and together recorded their first acoustic single, Better than Me, in Tiana's loft apartment.

Wiens Lief's ... "1960's three-part harmony pop-folk..." (Geoff Wilbur's Music Blog 2017) style has been compared to the likes of The Staves and The Smashing Pumpkins, while maintaining a style that "feels absolutely genuine." (Ear to the Ground Music 2017).
